This has been enlightening. Before being disabled I was a mental health social worker. Ya think I contributed to the fact that my state is in the happy list? It would be really great if I was able to help people -- anyway it would make me feel good.

I can only imagine a resounding, deafening "YES"! Anyone who works with those less fortunate than themselves, with love, care and kindness, deserves our utmost respect and affirmation. I too am "disabled" following a car accident, and have been the recipient of much help. And where would I be if it were not for my helpers? Nodoubt you have helped, are still helping, and will still help many people. Kindness alone, in a brutal and unkind world, is the greatest gift and help we can give each other. One kind word from even a strange can prevent a suicide - I know!

I often think of some of my former clients and wonder how they are.

Hi,
According to my view can feel a resounding, deafening. Anyone who works with those less fortunate than themselves, with love, care and kindness, deserves our utmost respect and affirmation. I am disabled following road accident, and have been the recipient of much help. No doubt you have helped, are still helping, and will still help many people. Kindness alone, in a brutal and unkind world.
