This one certainly belongs in the LOONY BIN because of the bazaar reasoning of this apparently misguided congregation. I wish I could say that this is an isolated case but I know far too many "KING JAMES ONLY" adherents who would probably applaud this behavior.

In my post To King James or Not to King James I wrote at great length on this issue. There has been an ongoing controversy surrounding this issue, but the way this old bird sees things, the crazy antics of this Baptist church makes me wonder if reading the KING JAMES bible causes otherwise rational people to loose all reason.

This pastor and his 14 followers have certainly flown over the cuckoos nest. And that is how I see it! Eagle Out!

So you find the nut with 14 followers. The KJV was the accepted version of Scripture for centuries. It fed many for decades. Now they (fringe groups) want to claim that this is the only *inspired* version! Did the Apostle Paul and others of the era know of this?? It doesn't help (i'm sorry) to broadcast these strange ones. It broadcasts an inaccurate character of Christianity. They are not the norm but the weird which give us all a bad reputation.

And it is only fitting and right to expose them for the fools and loons that they are.

Jatfla, Here is my thinking on this. We should hold ourselves more accountable than we hold others. If everyone concentrated on cleaning their own house, then there would be far less corruption, bigotry, and hatred. I, frankly, could not care less about the bigoted ideas of those who group the freaks with the masses, or what they might think about me. I just try concern myself with the truth and what is right.

actually it is those who do the stereotyping who seek out these oddities to exploit. These odd ducks are only pawns in the adversaries wicked war waged against all that is holy and good. These puppets in the war against Christianity are used in attempts to besmirch those who behave honorably. Therefore it is imperative that the true man or woman of God take a stand against this tomfoolery and point it out for what it is. Nonsense and inane. We need to take a stand for truth and right and proclaim it clearly and passionately. IMO
