I think he is an affable fellow who was hopelessly under-equipped educationally and ethically for the job. Yes, he graduated from Yale, but he never picked up a sense of the role of the Constitution in American government nor an understanding of modern world history and culture.

I'm not sure he ever saw enemies as people, nor truth as important.

I'm praying that Obama's talk is not due to being in the same position of Bush and under the same pressure from the lobbyist.

He is a good man, nice to see Obama has the class to admit it.

Adios George

This is true.

Obama: “I think he made the best decisions that he could at times under some very difficult circumstances." Really? That's quite a revelation from the one who cannot admit the surge in Iraq worked. Yet, at the same time suggests the same action in afghanistan.

See, this is really the gist of what I have been saying all along. Obama is not "change" from Bush. Obama _IS_ Bush's third term. 2 Wilsonian Progressives, one with just a higher degree of fascistic ambition, but we've been headed that way since Roosevelt. The frightening thing is the boldness with which Obama touts his nationalistic mobi...

George is a good as a kick in the nuts. Never like those either.

I hope he moves from the White House to the jailhouse where he belongs.

Give credit where credit is due. Good people sometimes make bad decessions or get bad advise. If you look back on the previous presidents you will see they all made some major blunders.

Obama takes the high road. Expected.

But, no. Bush is NOT a good man and an even worse president. He tried to hurt the working class and reward the wealthy right up until his last days.

Good riddance.

Lest we all forget, Obama is a politician. He's no more likely to express his most heartfelt sentiments about Bush than I am to become President. He's that cop who knows how to make a perp say "Thanks for giving me the opportunity to confess so I can get the prison time I genuinely deserve."

I do agree with Willie that Obama's part of the same machine as Bush, which is why I didn't vote for him.

As to Bush, somehow I've never been able to think of a sociopath as being a "good man". Then again, I never drink Kool-Aid.
