Interesting concept. A scientific grasp on the biologics of religion.

Reminds me of a Law & Order episode I recently watched where this kid stoned his mom to death and they had a cat scan that showed his primal brain lighting up during his religious fervors.

I suppose there's biological bases for superstition just as there's bases for consciousness.
