Years ago they called this sensational kind of reporting "yellow journalism." Those reporters were looked down upon. I hope Stossel continues to expose the shoddy, politically motivated reporting being done by his colleagues.

If you are far enough to the left, everyone is a right winger from where you are standing.

Debby, how does a "right-wing extremist ideologue" got a job on 20/20? ABC News is not exactly a bastion of conservatism. I view Stossel as middle-of-the road or Libertarian.

He uses his media platform as a megaphone of dishonesty. You would need a shovel to dig out from the steaming piles of dishonest B.S. Stossel leaves in his wake. How could one of the major networks employ a person with such disdain for the truth and then call him a "journalist?" He makes them money and has made himself a nice career behaving this way. Stossel has self-righteously used the airwaves to rail against people who file lawsuits. Yet, it was Stossel who filed a high-profile case himself ...

So Debby thinks Stossel is a right-winger because he advocates for school choice? That's more of a Libertarian ideal than conservatism.

Personal injury lawsuits are completely different from class-action lawsuits based on junk science.

John Stossel is an advocate of an revolutionary movement, a movement that does not accept the legitimacy of the existing system. Revolutionary movements aren't concerned about the rules of the game and have no compunction about misrepresenting their goals.
He uses his media platform as a megaphone of dishonesty.
Do yourself a favor jason, and do some homework to discover the real goals. It's not that hard to figure out.

I'm all for revolution. I don't like that status quo. That's probably why John Stossel, Ron Paul and Harry Browne are heroes of mine.

Be very careful what revolutionary you align yourself with Jason:
The only real good news will be when this terrible time in American history is over - Andy Roony
To hope for a turnaround, I have to believe that Americans don't really support the right's agenda--that the country as a whole is more generous, more tolerant, and less militaristic than the people now runnning it. And I think that is true Jason--but for the right's success in obscuring it's aims, and wrapping itself in the flag, I believe that most Americans would strongly oppose the direction this country is going. My hope is there will be a moment in which the American people look at what is happening, r...

America was founded on the concept of individual rights, not the rights of special interest groups. It's actually the liberals that have been creating new rights out of thin air, not conservatives or libertarians. I believe in the restoration of the individual rights enumerated in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
