Okay, CNN has come out with the official explanation. Maybe it
wasn't an official snub after all. Protocol & all that.

I still bet Angela Merkel thinks Bush is a dick and that he'll be remembered as the WORST PRESIDENT EVAR!

We liberals don't hate America, we love America.

We just hate Bush and what he stands for and what he's done to the country. Nor do we think speaking bad of the Great Leader is disloyalty to the state like the right-wing Kool-Aid drinkers seem to.

It's really remarkable. I had to clip it myself. It puts me in mind of when Osama bin Laden was being analyzed in terms of clothing and hand gestures during video broadcasts, the idea being that there were coded cues being delivered as a subtext. This subtext, while perhaps not as subtle, raises a lot of questions as to meaning.

I can think of few people I'd rather be than George W Bush. Laura Bush comes to mind...

There are an amazingly high percentage of America haters at this site. No doubt that is because the site itself seems to specialize in anti-American propaganda. One has to wonder which came first, the chickens or the eggs. Are they anti-American leftist because they are fed by the left-wing MSM and sites like this or do they flock here because of their inner hatred for the country.

They flock here because they have found comrades and they feed off each others hate and cynicism about the United States. And that's usually what the media promotes...distortions of actual events to support their political views and global grid. Then when the retractions or clarifications come...it's too late; the impressions have already been implanted and they remain.
