I give my daughter a Tablespoon of Flaxseed Oil in her cereal every morning and for Pasta I use Barilla Plus that has the Omega-3's in it. She's brilliant anyway but she is in first grade reading at a 3-4th grade level and her teacher told me that she has the best handwriting in the school. I think it's mostly that she has my genes but the Omega's have to help.

Great clip!

In the "Ol' Dayz" a standard practice was to give a tablespoon of cod-liver oil to the children everyday. This was before even the symptoms of 'ADD' and other such "modern" ailments arose. I find I do alot better I take my morning dose. I mix Flaxeed oil in some milk to get away from the texture. Grandma was right.

Most interesting clip. I am taking since January Omega capsules, and I must say I am having a better concentration when I am doing my (home-)work. Even when my day isn't going that well. And like they say, "Your concentration shows your being". So I would say let's take all Omega 3 and 6 oil capsules and keep eating fish. But make sure you take enough of the stuff, aproximately 600 milligrams a capsule Omega 3 and 6 a day. And don't get disappointed if it doesn't work instantly. It wil take at least 5 to 6 weeks to make a difference, because it's oil/fat based, your body needs first to store a certain amount of the stuff.

I would be skeptical of their results. Their group consisted of only 4 kids and no control group. This is not science. Look for a better study before giving it to your own children.

4 kids or a thousand. The keyword is "Omega oil" which is missing even in the intake of adult diets.
