Our friends across the pond seem to suffer the same sort of religious bigotry that we have here in the States. Of course, I suppose the question could be asked why employees are surfing the net instead of working but that's for another clip.

England, the birthplace of Wicca, bans witchcraft and Wicca sites. How ironic.

Technically the UK is a Christian Nation, under the stewardship of Her Majesty Head of the Anglican Church. That why the wall exist in the U.S. Constitution.

It's ironic that the U.K. has a higher percentage of atheists than the US. Perhaps we should designate Christianity as the National Religion and we'll also see an upsurge in people shedding their religious superstitions.

Years ago, I had to change from Win 95 to NT4 for work-at-home purposes and lost my ISP at the same time because they didn't support NT. In shopping around for a new provider, I had to reject a number of them, because they would have blocked acess to my own Pagan congregation's website (which, at the time, I was in gharge of maintaining).

Jorjor, that's why I have a Mac. Is the website still up, BTW? I'm curious to see another one because I've just built one for my own local pagan community, http://sanantoniopagans.us

WT, that site isn`t around anymore. The congregation I was in then is no longer active.

I had to go to NT at home because my workplace switched to NT for its development work, and I wouldn`t have the option of working at home when necessary. Use of NT was required by the biggest client in the western world - the DOD. Even if I`d had a Mac at home, I would have had to switch ISPs anyway to keep all my machines online. (My other computer at work was a Sun Sparcstation.)
