I completely agree with no TV or computers in your children's bedrooms. We *lost* our oldest to the TV in his room at around 15. I didn't realize it at the time, but that enabled him to isolate himself and make the TV his companion and a substitute for family. Same would go for the computer, only worse because of the easy access to horrible stuff.

DVD in the car...on long trips..... A life and sanity saver. :~)
