Which is exactly why I only use small independent e-mail companies. To be honest, i don't think would-be hackers would really be interested in such a list. I expect they'd have much more sophisticated backdoor approaches to getting the specific info they desire, rather than ploughing through a list of passwords to some private mail accounts that may or may not be accurate. Still, i won't deny that such a security leak on the part of these email giants is quite concerning. I posted a similar article. I have my Gmail encrypted, and my passwords are almost all computer generated by Last Pass. I hope this is enough. |
