Get'em, ladies. Happy hunting! just who runs these stupid banks? It's not the banks, stoker - it's a corporate culture thing. Some years ago I worked for a Japanese company; all the big bosses were Japanese and despite being a US facility, American employees were definitely second-class citizens. I saw people get fired for mispronouncing a Japanese boss' name, or failing to understand a memo's mangled English. Even the corporate dress codes were imported. American middle managers let abuses filter down to the grunt level. Japanese employees were discouraged from having contact with non-Asian workers, lived in corporate apartments to isolate them and even had the company arrange marriages back home so they wouldn't be tempted to get involved with a foreigner. Only $3m. Undervaluing themselves? or aware of the banks ability to pay. I agree stoker. Bound up by culture doesn't make a good banker. Too easy to bribe a person with those attitudes. |
