We have to step back and ask what we Christians have done that we find ourselves so implicated in the world that we cannot differentiate our response as God’s people from the American people’s response.
That's simple. Do what god would do. And act how god says to act. And since such acts would be different than how everyone else acts, it would be clear to everyone else that you are god's people (as opposed to everyone else).

So.

How do god's people act? Like Jews? Like Christians? Like Muslims or Hindu? Like the evangelist? The Monk?
