Don't forget the landslides and floods. As far as I know, no other country lives such frequent and powerful natural calamities. We can add the increasing avian flu cases to this picture. A friend of mine visited Indonesia a couple of years ago and told me that it was one of the most beatiful countries he had ever seen. How sad it is that such a great archipelago has those numerous natural vulnerabilities as well. A paradise which can become a hell in minutes...
