Motorists sometimes don't realize how LOUD the horns sounds on the outside if you happen to be on the street next to them. The other day I was walking a few feet behind a policeman; a guy in a car a few feet ahead of us was blowing the horn at the stop light - and the cop ran up to the car and gave him a verbal lashing like I've never heard or seen before!

My mom does this to say hello, goodbye, weather's good/bad/sunny/wet/snowy...exasperating!
