Yeah...Right. More times than I want to admit I have bewildered people by sarcasm and it just gets old having to constantly explain myself. I often wonder why my sarcastic wit is lost on so many people. My analogies are as well. After I explain, some people are still just as dumbfounded as before I explained. To them I usually just apologise and move on. The ability to recognise sarcasm is a gift that some people just didn't get. I find those people dry and humorless and extremely judgemental. They are often inflexible and anal. We all know them, but we don't associate with them except on a professional basis or where we are forced to. If I can't laugh at what life throws at me I might as well just die. Come on, I don't believe that rubbish for a minute, I'm sorry Which rubbish are you denying? Oh, and why are you sorry? You need not apologise for having an opinion. Hmm....its gotta make you wonder - but i agree, if you don't laugh, you may as well die. Better hope there isn't an afterlife because when I die I'm going to punch God in the nose. |
