He wants to rescind the tax breaks given to the wealthy to help the U.S.!?

I’ll bet he’ll be banned from the country club and a place at the round table now.

The Bush-era tax cuts gave $700 billion in breaks over eight years to those with annual incomes more than $200,000. The U. S. borrowed money to make these tax cuts possible, even as our schools, infrastructure, research institutions and social services were in need of new investments.

“Taxes are the price we pay to live in a civilized and healthy society. Those of us who have disproportionately benefited from public investments have a responsibility to pay back our society so that others can have similar opportunities.”

I like this guy. He says “it is just and fair that our generation make comparable investments in our future to ensure that America continues to offer our children and grandchildren the same kind of opportunities it offered me.”

Warren Buffett has also commented in the past that he is not paying enough in taxes, and he doesn't engage in the accounting legerdemain that his peers do to lower their already ludicrously low tax bills.

As the infamous Leona Helmsly once said; "I'm rich! I don't pay taxes" (sic)

The people who benefited the most from what taxes pay for; the social structure, the infrastructure, the financial marketplace, the very society that they make their money from, are paying less in taxes (compared to their net income) than the people these parasites prey on.

So long as a society permits people to be rich, there will always be a multitude of people who are poor and destitute

What's stopping him? The fact that a private citizen giving money to the government that he isn't due to pay, unsolicited, is a crime in the US. It's considered bribery

paying tax is a privilege. One of the reasons I delight in being back in work is that I now pay taxes. I contribute.

It costs money to operate a civilized society. Rich people not paying their rightful taxes are filthy parasites, feeding off society like leeches.
