Maliki is a man with two masters, and none of them are the Iraqi people. A bad position to put oneself in.

If Cheney gets away with this deal, what happens in an Obama Admin.(assuming he wins) ? Will he honor it or does he have a choice? Cheney is a freakin' madman!

Perhaps, even worse, Cheney knows exactly what he's doing and it getting exactly what he wants out of this false war.

If there is no time to impeach him then he should be held accountable for his war crimes and betrayal of America after he leaves office and we should lobby for that as hard as we can.

As far as these agreements with Iraq....by Constitution they should require Congressional approval (lie war is suppose to require specific approval and declaration) -- without such approval they do not have the binding power of treaties -- we have no treaties with anyone in the Middle East (including Israel).

I seriously doubt that the Iraqi leaders will let this deal go thru but their leadership could be "changed" momentarily if Cheney wants it to.
