So this is most likely a photoshop patch work and not any national park. I thought so too, but it's from nasa.gov. From Astronomy Picture of the Day actually. So I went looking for Wally Pacholka and I think it's safe to conclude that's a real picture. This guy received a Time and Life picture of the year award; his photo's are used for encyclopedia britannia, by national geographic; and on on nasa.gov servers. There's even a [http://www.astropics.com/latimes.htm]LA Times article[/url] on him. I admit, he lighting and background look like they're fake; it makes you think it's bad photoshopping. It's a real, time-lapse photograph. Many similar photos have been done before. |
