Mr. Grassley, one of my Iowa Senators, is a pretty conservative Republican, but sometimes does some surprising things. This one is a good thing - people are getting robbed by these guys. And he also strongly supported expansion of SCHIP, despite two Bush vetoes.
Perhaps it's a good example of how politics benefits from being about issues, one at a time, rather than parties. People on both sides of the aisle have good ideas.
