egoldstein says: I really hope that the Iranian regime isn't allowed to restore what they deem "order" by brutalizing and intimidating their people. I'm really surprised that countries around the world have been as quiet as they have on this issue. I really hope that the Iranian regime isn't allowed to restore whatI don't understand this comment. I figured you were aware they have been hacking, axing, torturing, shooting, beating and right now ---hanging many of the protestestors. Many of us have been clipping updates daily. My fav source is Pam Geller: http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2009/07/iranian-revolution-day-22-crushing-the-movement--29-more-to-be-hanged-tomorrow.html I'm really surprised that countries around the world have been as quiet as they have on this issue. My guess is they are taking their cue from the Obama government. I'm really surprised that countries around the world have been as quiet as they have on this issue.Well, look at Obama's reaction! But it's here in Ireland as well. I am disgusted. I just went through the entire Irish Independant, and there was only one tiny paragraph about Iran, and it mentioned nothing about the hangings or showed the fate of any of the protestors. I am visiting family, and told them how many were being hanged today, and they were visibly shocked--they have no idea what's going on. The difference? I get my news online.....they get it from the TV and newspapers here. lol michelle! great minds n all that.... Antara, i'm well aware of that. the statement i was making is that i really hope they're not allowed to get away with it. |
