Tuning a decent guitar is a piffle of a problem, DJ. Go for it regardless. It will be a LOOOooooooonnnng time before this tech ever hits a decent price.

Nice option. I like that people can utilize pre programmed alternate tunings. A requisite for those who wish to play any Micheal Hedges songs.
Personally I find tuning a six string simple to do.I agree with BB on that note. But this technology would really be a bonus on any 12 string instrument!

I dunno,I have been a 12 string player for 40 years (mostly ovation) and for me it's the ear.If you can't hear it you can't play it.But hell, I'm a dinosaur.

I think your right swampfoxz but I think very very few people are born with it and most are acquired. For me it would take some time and something like this would be a godsend during the acquisition of that "ear".
