I'll confess, though, that I have still only been 'floating,' the idea; I haven't been pushing it. But part of this is also timing: There is NO time limit on the Recall Republican Governor's idea and perhaps not the sense of crisis there needs to be.

Plus it's in "competition," with other ideas that are logical enough: Impeachment (my idea , too #2) and involvement in primary and general elections (my idea, too, #3).

Conversations with a state director of Code Pink (and the recent actions by Cindy Sheenan against Pelosi) proved maddening. I wasn't able to get through my basic emphasis that: "We should attack our enemies, not our friends." (or, hassle people who are MORE your opponents then those who are at least sympathetic in some way -- although there is the problem of some so-called friends being deceptive and/or sell-outs).

A conversation with a leading activist trying to get the Colorado State legislator to pass an anti-war resolution was also non-productive. I told him it was 'pointless,' because it had no real power to change things, just another expression of sympathy. (I've already 'been there and done that...trying to change a state law by appealing to the county).

He disagreed. It might be time to pump it up a bit. I NOW offer to pay all cash cost for anyone who does this: i.e. start recall against Republican governor.
