It may be that only the doctor was fired. The others are on full paid leave.

Sounds about right. That is how we roll when it comes to valuing the lives of people with mental illness.

Dude saw video and there was a women in the chair not far off ....and she saw the women fall and did nothing i was shocked .....the bystander didn't do anything for an hour until other medical personal came by an were also shocked ? This is fucked up in so many ways!

Here's the thing--the bystanders were people who were themselves in the ER for being in psychiatric emergencies. The bystanders may have been out of touch with reality, suicidal, or otherwise "out of it."

Good point.

Maybe security doesn't see it as their job either that a patient is prostrate on the floor. Their work nowadays is much too important to be bothered with non-security risks. They want someone to taser!
