Here is some things to do nude at Avalon according to their website and I'm not kidding:

1. Go fishing in the pond-catch and release (Gawd, that is funny--you have to live here to appreciate that kind of stuff)
2. Enjoy the beauty of our dogwood trees (I can't stop laughing)
3. Fly a kite on the front lawn. (Yes WV, is that boring folks)

They simply can’t convince their children to join them on their two or three trips a year.
I wonder why Nudity and family vacations don’t always mix?! I think they never mix!

The thought of swimming nude at night with a fire nearby is awesome, but FISHING nude?? OMG, one would be laughed out of this state. I mean, there is a practical reason those ppl at Avalon have a catch and release stipulation; it's called Barbless hooks!

The trouble with nude beaches and the like, is that it is so very often the WRONG people who shed their clothes. There are some people, such as myself, who really should put more on, not take anything off.

As someone who had always looked better without clothing for most of my life and now I see that slowly starting to swing the other way, I know what you mean Zasel. Some random thoughts:
Time is the great equalizer baby. However, I like the concept of accepting yourself and being accepted totally for the inner person you are even if it is a fallacy in this society, and most of these nudists are just average looking people who want that ability to be equal with others without all the baggage of who is better dressed, etc. I also think that it's kind of neat that most nudists are able to not associate their nudity with sexuality.
