BigBadWolf says: Sorry but from personal experience I can say it's ludicrous how easily the law will believe anything a woman says with little or no proof. I had observed the situation for a while. It wasn't good. Abusive. One day she confided in me. At the next event I stepped in and got in his face. She stepped in and got in mine. I was young. Thought it was crazy and an aberration. Sometime later, same situation, different players, same result. Got to be most serious before I do any steppin in now. Is there a playbook that everyone seems to follow so precisely or just coincidence? lol it's ludicrous how easily the law will believe anything a woman says with little or no proof.I disagree. What about that woman who sued McDonald's when she spilled her coffee on her and hence the "caution, the beverage you are about to enjoy is very hot" or something along those lines (come to think of it, that quote may have come from the Starbucks sleeves) Coconut, what is the point? Some woman was too stupid to realize her coffee was hot? You know BBW, I think there is a different mentality with the 20 something year old generation. When I say "mentality," I'm NOT saying ignorance or anything along those lines. It's just the first word that I can think of to explain what I'm trying to say. We (those of us in our late 40's-50's) still have some of the "old fashion" values system. I have noticed that folks in their mid-40's have a slightly different values system. And then when I look at the 30 and 20 yr old groups, I see yet another values system and one that I believe is spawned from changes in law regarding abuse issues. I have witnessed some horrible verbal harassment from the mouths of babes that would send my mother... Precisely, BBW...and yet, she won the case... |
