There is an extremely *slight* chance of dying from a tazer to the chest - however a bullet to the chest increases the risk of death significantly. If the situation is shown to have the person being a threat or not responding to verbal commands or attempting to be hostile then I have absolutely no sympathy for the idiots that are going to prove how tough they are to cops.

In the end being Tazered has probably saved many more lives than it has cost.
