October 18, 2009 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports several people sustained burns after what Orange County Fire Department believes was a vehicle malfunction. According to Orange County Fire Department Capt. Greg McKeown the incident occurred on the southbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway in Irvine in the vicinity of Culver Drive. At approximately 10:33 a call was received that 18 firefighters, 3 fire engines and 2 paramedics responded to.</DIV></blockquote><div style="height: 2px; font-size: 2px; background: #dcdcdc; border-bottom: solid 1px #f5f5f5; margin: 2px 4px;"></div><blockquote style="text-align: left; padding: 0px 8px; margin: 4px 0px 8px 0px; background: transparent; border: none;" cite="http://california-burn-injury-attorneys.blogspot.com/2009/10/accident-victims-burned-after-i-5.html">The incident appears to show that there was a malfunction upon the initial investigation, the malfunction was with the rear tire and there might have been a gasoline leak.
