This is becoming far to common. We had a car wreck near my house. A distraught father was being a bit of a nuisance as his son was very severely injured. They nearly used the taser on him until we pleaded with them not to. Later in speaking to the young enthusiastic officer, he admitted to me, he was itching to try out his Taser Gun. " I could have nailed him!"

Cops need better training that these are not non lethal toys. They can and have killed many people. Three in my small city alone in the last year. Far too often, they are used out of anger than for safety.
