I went to college...exxon didn't pay for it and I am not a right winger, in fact quit the opposite and this I KNOW:

Global warming is a farse foisted upon the public in order to get better political control over us and to get us to stop using products and doing things that work so that the rich can sell us more expensive goods and services. It's all it comes down to is the earth's climate changes all of the time and we don't need to fall to our knees in fear over thier false ideas.

THIS YOU KNOW? And you went to college? Considering your apparent reasoning power I humbly suggest that your parents, and the taxpayers demand a refund.

Jack alexender happens to "know for a fact" because he is speaking fact. The pathetic stance of the ignorant that chooses to follow any fantasy purely for ideological reasons, is a disgrace to the actual science of climatology. You flat-eathers need to read a book. We've com a long way since 1492.

Here's something I clipped a little while back. The page lays out some of the links between Exxon Mobil and its various shills. The flash application is lots of fun to play with.

Interesting word, shill. Very applicable here. Though, I am not sure about your context.

Science is very much a cooperative process and is largely self-correcting. Incorrect science ultimately gets rooted out and rejected.

That's what the flat-earther's fear. So goes the proposed blacklisting by The Weather Channel, The media ignoring the actual science, Al Gore's unwillingness to debate, describing opposition as "shills", proposals by the California state senate to hold Nuremburg style trials for global-warming skeptics, not reporting the truth about Kyoto, Contrived charts that are proven false and never reported in the mainstreme press, hiding the truth about the IPCC reports, media not disclosing most vehement advocates of global warming, and not reporting the motivations and money trail involved in the business of global-warming hysteria. And much, much more.

Could you try harder next time? There is no reason to come out swinging so hard because a person holds an opinion with which you disagree. All those cheap shots are not productive to the discussion.

Stacked up against THIS Rhodes scholar...here are the people who DON'T believe in Global Warming being man made...I think I'll accept their word of the idiot above:

85 scientists and climate experts who signed the 1995 Leipzeg Declaration which called drastic climate controls "ill-advised, lacking credible support from the underlying science; 17,000 scientists and leaders involved in climate study who signed a petition issued by the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine...

Subject any scientific claim to The Six Rules of Critical Thinking:

Falsifiability, Logic, Comprehensiveness, Honesty, Replicability, and Sufficiency.

You should end up with the reliable facts. Then you can argue.
