But the past 30 years or more I have seen the raping of that life. And I don't see any change for the better. And the G.I. Bill was a big part of the engine that drove our developement and expansion into being the Envy of others!One of the huge attractions and compensations for the Irish leaving our shores was the then excellent education system over there. Joining the military while not yet a citizen made sense because of the G.I. Bill. Back here, we knew all about it. How things have changed. |
