Not that I support or agree with the sentiments she has expressed, but I was unaware France was so oppressive in regard to it's citizens freedom of speech. And I thought things were bad in the US lately, (citing the enactment of the Patriot Act). But I would still rather live here than anywhere!

If I end up with your great grandmother's secret recipe for chicken noodle soup, then you'll know the neferious nature of the beast we face. Of course that is more likely to happen from a government program by Obama outlawing the secrecy of recipes, rather than being exposed by some "illegal" wiretap. Keep the faith.

Nothing to do with hate crimes legislation, since it can trump the Constitution. I don't like the French method, it goes to far and it will eventually backfire on them.
