8 is a lot of parrots! However it reminds me of why I stick to one dog. I LOVE Pit Bulls.and if I got a second, I'd end up having 9 or 10. Don't get me started on the unfair rap they have.

I have a simply beautiful Brindle Pitbull!!! His name is "Beast". He's the sweetest dog. Loves kids. The good thing is that he's vicious sounding and looks insane, so he makes for great protection! (It's funny actually, how most folks don't notice while he's barking and carrying on, that his tail is wagging a hundred miles an hour). And he's very social with other dogs, too. Smart as a whip! When I take my parrots outside, I tell him "Don't even think about it" and he turns his head and looks away! Pits do have a bad rap. It sux. It's not the dogs, it's the owners. In CA, the so-called "Humane Society" and local shelters won't even adopt them out. If they pick up a pit, they just put them down. It breaks my heart.
