If we don't change voluntarily, we'll be forced to change by necessity, when we least expect or, want to. People are comfortable the way they are, and they intend to keep it that way. Change doesn't play favorite, and those who are comfortable now will be uncomfortable at least when there is change. The environment will change. It always does. But we seem determined to make it change both quickly and radically. Just because we can.

The best global warming policy is only as strong as the weakest links. That link right now is China and India and neither of those two are going to go carbon free. So while other countries try in vain to reach their carbon free goals, others are going to invalidate everything you do, regardless of your best efforts.

Sorry, Napster but the USA is still the leading carbon producer and is NOT helping change things by leading...Another failed Bush policy despite their lame excuses and lip-service bullshit. How can we tell China and India to change if we don't?
