I don't know whether to laugh or cry right now. The Alabama Department of Homeland Security has declared that as a gay man, I am to be considered a terrorist. Wow. I had no idea my friends and I are such a severe threat to national security. I believed all along that all we were guilty of was loving someone of the same gender. Thank you Alabama Dept of Homeland Security for setting the record straight and for empowering me to such a consequential degree.

I wonder if the federal government uses the same logic for their watch list? It would have to be something stupid like that for my name to always come up as a potential threat when I travel. What's worse is I work for an airline so you would think I wouldn't be able to work there if I really was a threat to aviation.
