Agree, Triple-snort-worthy! Washington doesn't need fine print, they just rely on non transparency, backroom deals and middle of the night amendments--by this time the bill is 500 pages long--so who is going to ever read all of it? One would think that as large a staff as each representative/senator has--that staff would be detailed to read each bill--like each staffer has to read 100 pages of a bill every day and write a synopsis. What's more we pay these people to do this to us and in some instances it seems they're re-elected for life! |
