The media coverage of the CDF's recent document, Responses to Some Questions Regarding Certain Aspects of the Doctrine on the Church, has been misleading to say the least. Unfortunately, many of my Christian friends here have based their opinion of clarifications upon this media presentation instead of going to the source. I have provided these clips and recommend this good article for any of my friends who wish to move beyond this media gloss. Without doubt, we will disagree over particular points, but at least it should be made clear that Catholics and Protestants are not at war, at least from the perspective of the Catholic Church.
