Seldom do I come across such a profound summation of the corrupting influence of power, especially in present-day writings. Ya know, for years I have played a little imaginary game in my head: Its about who I would dearly love to sit down to a long leisurely meal and conversation with. Sometimes I imaging dining with some philosopher, humanitarian or great thinker from the past, and a few from the present.. Jorge Majfud is definitely on that list. |
