AtlLiberal says: In religion controlled Italy it seems that they are more concerned with dogma than with free thought. Surprised? It seems there's not too much ideological difference between the Italians and the Taliban. I seriously doubt the supreme being is afraid of signs. Sounds more like humans are afraid. @darkduskx LOL, I suspect your mostly right. But which supreme being are you referring to? Whichever the sign is talking about Ha! Going by the locale and major sect I'd bet on Yahweh. I bet Zeus is going to be pissed. Why this noise ??? Everyone is free .... thy are free to believe or not ... and he is free not to drive or not. he is free not to drive or not. This has nothing to do with his "freedom to drive". He is an employee of this transit company hired to do a job. The special accommodation granted to him because of his bigoted reaction to this advert is the issue here. When a person is in the employ of another there are certain rights that are forfeited in exchange for remuneration. Consider if a non-believer refused to do his job because of religious advertising being displayed. Considering the ubiquity of such advertising not too many companies could remain in business. This minor flap has to do with special privilege granted to theists that are not normally extended to atheists. AtlLiberal Dear friend ... our American Constitution give the military man the right to refuse fighting ... if this fighting is against his believe. @Yassin I am not familiar with where in the Constitution this is stated. And this has what to do with the actions of a bus driver in Great Britain? Perhaps you need to do some research on Conscientious Objector status as defined in the military. To compare that to an employee of a transit company in GB is certainly a stretch of logic and reason. |
