dmegivern says: In my humble opinion, children with lots of stomach acid are overly stressed or eating too much carb-laden food. I think diet interventions would be better. In my teens I suffered from stomach acid. Self imposed stress and an acid beer, I think. And then Ok although I did have a stomach ulcer 5 years ago. No pain but couldn't even drink water. Course of tables and right as rein. esomepraxole is a great drug for many people. Nexium stands as an example of putting branding and marketing and profit before medical appropriatenss. Obviously, if gastric disturbance is a symptom of stress etc it is bizarre to eliminate the symotom and ignore the cause. Sadly, that is just what a lot of pharmointensive medicine does these days. |
