So it goes, too, with privilege. Outstanding. Did you notice how Jeff Sessions' questioning of Judge Sotomayor suggested that her views sprang from racial heritage and his, by contrast, were simply normal? And did you read of how Judge Scalia talked graphically of the empathy he gained from his immigrant heritage and NO ONE questioned it? The difference? White privilege! Race privilege is hard at work; those who don't see it often assume racism is only acts done of conscious hatred, and have yet to see the more pernicious kind. Truly outstanding clip! love this clip.
