that's a bummer - I remember one of my childhood friends wasn't allowed to go trick-or-treat [ing] because his mom thought it was satanic ---- it was just candy to us tho....

I don't mean to be ugly, but Christmas and Easter haven't been celebrated for quite some time....Winter and Spring holidays have though.

I, too, remember Halloween. My Mom made me an awesome costume and I looked like Martha Washington (no laughing!).

But really...shouldn't school be about learning? That said, it's not even about that much anymore. I miss the olden days but we are never going to have them back. PC has done so much damage to our American way-of-life that it's hardly recognizable anymore. (sigh)

And yet Muslims are being treated like visiting royalty. Foot baths installed at the tax payers expense. Prayer times for Muslims students. PC ickiness
