This is looking worse by the hour. It appears that Hamas is going to control Gaza and Fatah the West Bank. They're killing each other like flies. I wonder what Hezbollah is doing right now. Iran and it's pawns are positioning themselves like pieces on a chess board.

I believe this is going to escalate quickly into a full-blown war throughout the Middle East with the US, Europe and Israel caught in the middle. How in the world can this region-wide anarchy be contained and the prevention of myriads of innocents from being murdered?

I think Americans are going to have to choose, very soon, where exactly their true loyalties and their future security lies. And Paris Hilton has nothing to do with any of these things.

Another horrible thought is that the U.S, was going to send a bunch of money (millions) for weapons purchases (if I remember correctly). If those fall into the hands of Hamas anything goes.

Actually US did send some for fatah and naturally hamas got a hold of it and confiscated it accordingly. That was a while back.

The funny thing is that Abbas declares the state of emergency, under the circumstances - what the heck does that mean?
