thisnamecantbetaken says: Wow! It just gets more and more complicated, doesn't it? I'll say! If everyone was the same, it would be a boring world though, I think. A Sexual = totally sexual aSexual = Totally Boring There can be two ways to see this condition. 1. The asexual basic animal drive is shut off and defective that results in no procreation (Darwin Gene) 2. The asexual is a natural mutation of our species to curb runaway population growth. What if it is a glimpse of things to come?(well, not to cum, anyway) BUT, you're assuming they all abstain from sex. asexuality is not the same as celibacy, which is the deliberate abstention from sexual activity; many asexuals do have sex Maybe they just think sex is overrated? BUT, you're assuming they all abstain from sex.No, but what if it is just the FIRST mutations of a growing genetic diversion that eventually leads to no sex...No procreation. Other species have dwindled out of existence in the past, perhaps this is how their decline starts. Not every extinction is artificially instigated. Good points! I was wondering about this part too: and do not have overt physical encounters with individuals of either sex in which there is evidence of any response.Evidence of any response? What would that mean? That they would have sex if there was no response from the other? Or from themselves? We have all had one - a dead lay. Always thought is was something that I wasn't doing but now I find out that some people just go thru the motions. I'll bet its mostly people in diluted bloodlines (Jones, Smith, Johnson, Williams etc) I'm not saying all people in those surnames but people in those surnames may have a greater tendacy. Those surnames are either extremely geneticly diverse or genetically stagnate. I could be wrong, 180 it and they may be the most sexually prevailent. A study should be done... Here where I live, it became such a fad a few years ago, to change your name to some fancy ancestor name, for the sole purpose of people wanting to rid themselves of their common names, to feel unique. A handful wanted common names, to make anonymity easier in these new times of the surveillance internet. (It's easier to protect ones privacy with a name that gives a million Google hits.) It got so bad, they had to start charging people money to get their names changed. Also, as long as women take the names of their husbands when they marry, there will always be a dilution back and forth of the "common name" gene pool with other names, I reckon. Two Jones' can be just as distantly related ... As for the dead lay. *LOL* If a dead lay turns them off, then that's emotional. (disappointment, boredom) not an "orientation", I don't think. I'm sure they would like to do it, if it were more exciting. If someone IS a dead lay, that's lack of culture, imagination, experience, confidence or all round pazazz, I reckon. I don't think asexuality is about "technique". *LOL* If it's an orientation, then they can't be "turned into" an asexual by a dead lay or "cured" either, I assume. (Like with gays.) I never knew asexuality was an orientation. I just assumed it was a choice. A non-genetic response to something else. Would an asexual find both genders physically "disagreeable" or is it that ... Good points! I was thinking about it like a change in the drive to procreate. I don't know where sexual drive comes from. I think it is genetic at a foundation part of the chain. All animals AND plants strive to procreate. If there is a mutation or a switching off of this drive it could be significant to explain why species die out. Perhaps as a species stagnifies the sex drive gene turns off and the species numbers slowly decline over generations. Perhaps it is just sensory overload. Our species base EVERYTHING on procreation. We are bombarded with sexual desire daily. Perhaps the asexual has somehow become desensitized and thus seeks no procreation activities. If one had this condition th... we could slowly unfuck ourselves from existence.I'd rather fuck myself to death I can only dream... I have a dream . . . S h a r i n g |
