In her opponents' minds, Palin's made all the wrong choices, and
cannot, they insist, be very bright. Yet she's happy and successful.
She is an anomaly that invalidates their worldview, and for that, they attempt to immiserate her — regardless of whether she wishes to run for national office again.

I really enjoy Anchoress, too.

I think hate is to strong a word, I know it's a word I don't like using in reference to people. I prefer to use dislike.

I don't hate her. I just feel she has no business being President of the United States.

Why do all you conservatives HATE President Obama?

Let me count the ways..... Hate? No, fear.

So ignore her. We don't know what her plans are. We have had a tradition of ignoring those with whom we disagree and then voting according to our preferences.

People 'hate' her because they disagree with her values and her policies. The other stuff...the baby, the daughter, the break-up, etc....are just personal attacks designed to undermine her credibility. We all know it.

Whatever she plans to do, can Americans give all candidates an even playing field and just vote for those who represent their core values?
