... Cheney shoots some guy in the face; the Military Commissions Act; Jose Padilla arrested and held without charge or access to counsel; endless tax cuts for the rich; let's waste a shitload of money by sending people to Mars and let's hire some Heritage Foundation staffers to rebuild Iraq.

And with that, let's go onto our 10 worst moments.

1: "Mission Accomplished"

A lot has been written about Bush's aircraft carrier stunt over the past few years, and with good reason. After all, no other incident better illustrates how Bush's presidency was built entirely on hubristic arrogance, shameless propaganda and a destructive disregard for reality. In what Noam Chomsky correctly ca...

5: Bush and Condi's Excellent Gaza Adventure
The Bush administration can be described as a slapstick comedy with an unusually high body count: Picture the Three Stooges and the Keystone Cops duking it out with cruise missiles.

There is no better example of this than Bush and the State Department's wild adventures in the Gaza Strip in 2006. As Vanity Fair's David Rose reported earlier this year, the trouble began when Bush started stamping his feet and throwing a hissy fit about having elections in the Palestinian territories. Essentially, Bush's desire to be seen as a "freedom president" meant forcing various swarthy third-worlders to vote in elections that would presumably re...

8: North Korea Conducts a Nuclear Test
In his 2002 State of the Union Address, Bush stated forthrightly that "the United States will not permit the world's most dangerous regimes to threaten us with the world's most destructive weapons." And to show how serious he was, Bush decided to invade Iraq, a country whose vast stockpile contained precisely zero weapons of mass destruction. ...

9: Alberto Gonzales' Congressional Testimony

One of the Bush administration's favorite pastimes over the past eight years has been gleefully urinating in the faces of the other two branches of government. This tendency is best exemplified by Ex-Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' appearance befor...

Even thought what our sanity would have been if we had not the outlet of the internet to vent our feelings? Of course, this question is only addressed to those that would read this clip, the really sane ones like me, who where sane in the first place. Ha ha.

Sanity is not to be trusted by the one beholden' that sanity, RH. Tis said there are as many horrid feelings in both sanity and insanity. Take George for instance. Please take him and throw him off a cliff, to land directly on top of Dick.
Don't worry about me.............Just letting off steam

Well done, unfortunately you had a lot of material to work with. I hope it comes to light at some time in the future that the 2nd election was fixed too and that the American voter wasn't ignorant enough to give that evil clown another four years to harm the inhabitants of planet Earth.

Lifecycle1898,
by an extraordinary coincidence I've spent a lot of this morning with a very lengthy video about the 2000 - mainly Florida - and 2004 election - mainly Ohio. It's also about the most courageous Congress person, a female and black. It's name is ...

I suggest you take the time to watch it. It's evidence that the voting box isn't where American elections are won.

We haven't figured out why George Bush hasn't been impeached all these years. And with his ratings, we were wondering how he kept from hanging himself, crawling in a hole someplace, never to be heard from or seen again.

What is his secret? How does he tune the whole world out? Does he think we haven't noticed what has been omitted in the Iraq coverage? Oh well, I forgot. He is the "Decider". The "Decider" of who was going to become billionaires thanks to the war.

The 'reverence' that most Americans have for the office of the presidency is being badly abused by these electoral fraudsters to wring every last drop of respect out of the office.

The real damage will be in the future. Only an exceptional president will restore the status. McCain isn't such a man whatever about Obama.

That some new middle ground of reverence for the presidency would be no bad thing. Treating a president as if an emperor always had the potential for an abuser like Bush. The UK PM has to earn his spurs continuously and alone every 4 years.
