The compulsion to take offense is an interesting point of similarity between Islamists and the Left.

A neurosis of specialness.

The two buildings are square - other than that they look nothing alike. Sometimes any excuse will do.

My neighbors garage offends me becuase it is blue and thus it resembles
the sky. The sky was designed by God to be above us, not on the ground
at the same level. Therefore I think it offends my religous
beliefs....perhaps I should raise some concern

Regardless of the religous group stating this, this fad of people taking offense is getting REALLY old and REALLY ridiculous. I second what CatWhisper said.

The MEMRI link mentioned in this source only says that "an Islamic website posted a message alerting Muslims" to the design of the Apple store. It does not give a link to this "Islamic website". Is there any evidence to justify the insinuation that there is widespread Muslim outrage about this?

Sounds like this is about on the same level as those crazy email chain letters, like "Nina Totenburg says they are going to shut down Sesame Street unless you send an email to this address." Any evidence that anyone's taking it seriously?
