This is not a good thing. 'US-style Democracy', whether promoted by Dubya and 'his advisers' or 'fearless evangelists' in China, is not going to bring peace and prosperity to the multi millions of poor Chinese; rather the opposite I think.

What goes around comes around.

In the not very distant past Irish missionaries were all over Africa mainly with education.

Now some black African are ministering in Ireland as our number of clergy is below the needs of here. (Some Irish clergy may still be going abroad so as not to be hampered by celebrity.)

A number of Polish clergy also minister here to cater to the large numbers of Poles living here now.

Someday maybe Chinese clergy...
