Gotta love Pat Condell. He's right on target. He says what really needs to be said, when everyone else is trying to be politically correct. Pat Condell always has takes on religion whether Christianity or Islam. Despite of how many athiests show pride being void of what religion so causes 'the hatred thingy', lots of them fall in to it.. I wonder!. While I may agree on some points 'yes muslims are over reacting to some issues!', definitely he's over doing others. Like What's wrong with having 'Halal meat' in markets, just like the 'kosher'?. Unlike what the French occupation once lead by Napoleon Bonaparte in Egypt did when he bombarded 'the Sphinx' & left everyone now asking 'where's the nose?', ancient muslims preserved all the pharaonic monuments (although 1400 years before). Would you consider the Taliban to be Muslim? Before 9-11, I had heard of the Taliban just once, and that was when they destroyed the great "The Buddhas of Bamyan" statues on the side of a mountain, built during the 6th century. I thought they were jerks for doing such a thing. (I'm not Buddhist but I know not to destroy human history.) -- Condell, however is saying that allowing Muslim culture (bit by bit) into the European culture is folly. Secular laws have long since outgrown the barbaric religious laws of centuries past (with the exception of capital punishment), and he's stating clearly that he doesn't want his own country going backwards into the mentality of the dark ages.
