Among unaffiliated voters, 45% say Obama has better experience while 42% say Palin.
Obama has been selling himself for the job of president for years while Palin has been on the scene for a week yet she is all caught up with him. It will take at least two to three more days for the McCain bounce to fully register on Rasmussen. Maybe longer as I don't think Obama peaked until the following Monday or Tuesday. By then McCain could very well be in the lead.

The REAL Napster
Today's Gallup poll shows Obama leading 48% to McCains 44%, but Obama has now dropped 2 points since Sept 1st, while McCain has gained 2%. The effects of the RNC have not factored in yet, so we will see more gains for McCain/Palin very soon.

this just in:

He also rode a wave of positive press after a convention speech that more viewers tuned into than did to Obama’s much-hyped and (until McCain’s) record-setting address—and nearly as many tuned in to hear Palin speak the night before.

Meanwhile, independent voters who less than a week ago were evenly split as to whether she helped or hindered the ticket now are more than twice as likely to see her as an asset than a liability.

And the latest from Gallup:

McCain pulls away from Obama.
Gallup Daily: McCain Moves Ahead, 48% to 45% September 7, 2008

John McCain has moved ahead of Barack Obama in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking, 48% to 45%, following last week’s Republican convention. This is McCain’s best showing since May.

When I first heard that McCain had chosen the Governor of Alaska, I refused to watch anything at the Convention. I began to hear some interesting things and the more I read the more excited I became.

Yes! She is not the Presidential candidate...just the VP pick. But I can identify with HER and respect and have more confidence in McCain for having made that choice!

Didn't you hear? That word has been banned from Clipmarks by those people who are nothing like Marx. No, not at all.

Enjoy it while it lasts. It's all downhill from here.

It's actually gone up since that last comment Masbury. Keep hoping. Obama is the one who now shows the downward trend.
