And it is for exactly this kind of situation that the Clintons should be required to divulge the extent of their involvement with foreign interests and exactly how much money their personal bank accounts and their Library/Foundation have received.

Hillary and Bill have also refused to release their income tax returns, despite the fact that Bill willingly released his when he was running for president.

Why hasn’t Barack Obama or John Edwards even mentioned this issue? Their attacks on Hillary’s links to lobbyists and other special interes ts are usually painted with a broad brush. But the journey of America’s banks abroad in search of a bailout makes this specific conflict a key question of policy and highly relevant to their campaigns. What better illustration could one have of Hillary’s conflicts of interest than this one?

No one is more in bed with the Mid East oil barons than the Bushes and no one is more to blame for our crumbling economy than the Bushes.

Why don't you clean up your own house before commenting on the Democrats.

So what is that suppose to prove. All you have shown is the ever increasing imports of Saudi Arabian oil. The Bush's are in bed with the House of Saud and have been for decades.

Once again clean up your own party before commenting on the Democrats.

There's plenty enough corruption in both Democrat and
Republican parties to go around.

I don't have a problem with Hillary revealing her IRS
documents. She claims she'll show them AFTER
she's been nominated. The Clintons believe they have
special laws that only apply to them. BTW Dick Morris,
author of this clipped article was special adviser to
Bill Clinton:

Another way of phrasing your comment would be it
shows the ever increasing cons...

I'm no great fan of Hillary but you keep dodging the issue that there is no bigger benefactor in U.S. politics from the Saudi sheiks than the Bush family.

If you supported the Bushes you shouldn't have any problem with the Clintons........ at least on that issue.

The Saudis donated no more to the Clinton library than they did to the Pappy Bush's library. If you take into account inflation they donated more to the Bushes.

Regardless of where our oil comes from the Bush managed decline in the value of the dollar will ensure that internationals will be buying U.S. companies right and left. Congratulations.

I don't understand how the issue changed into what you
claim is "collusion" between the Bush family and the
House of Saud [the picture of President Bush holding
hands with King Abdullah isn't proof of your allegations]

The article is the question of Hillary Clintons campaign
financing sources [she claimed the $5 million was her
personal money] and the ties Bill Clinton has with
the Emir of Dubai and the donation of $10 million from
the Saudi's for The Clinton Library.

The statements you've offered have absolutely nothing
to do with the article, and if you can read the article
you would discover it has nothing to do with oil and
the current administration. It's about the 2008 campaign.

It's also about conservatives on the attack being grossly hypocritical and negligent of applying the same standards to their own party leaders. Not the article, you.

How could you even have a problem with this if you have supported the Bush Administration.

If you aren't aware of the Bush family's deep involvement with the House of Saud you have been hiding under a rock.

As for Dick Morris's article it is a straight attack job. He had a falling out with the Clintons. He was caught shacking up with a $200 an hour hooker and now he works for the Republicans. Must be a proud moment for Republicans.

Dick Morris is hardly a credible source. $10 million a year straight from the Dubai Emir into ...

Faux News has the report on the Clinton's assets. The story ran in June 2007. No alarm bells. Dick Morris is a loser, Republicans would be best to stay away from him.

Faux News article. Looks like Hillary had more than enough money to lend to herself.

WASHINGTON — Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton liquidated the contents of their blind trust upon learning it contained investments of $5 million to $25 million that could pose conflicts of interest or prove to be embarrassing to her presidential campaign.

The blind trust and a bank account valued in the same range place the Clinton's total wealth at between $10 million and $50 mil...

To be perfectly candid on my leanings on the next "prez"
for 2009, I would certainly prefer Hillary co., than McCain!
So you're "preaching to the choir." McCain is a DC insider and makes back-room deals. He has a looooong list of legislation with his name on it, that disqualify him, as far as I'm concerned.

Hillary's liability is Bill. period.
2-9-2008 3:04 AM
BobbyRutan
Agreed with your last statement. But she is also her own liability as well, without the alarm of being tied to oil sheiks. Conservatives embraced that for as long as they have embraced the Bush's.

I'll be looking forward to your John McCain clips. Cheers.

John McCain is a Rino, and the one thing I detest is a
phony hypocrite, whose arrogant and obnoxious on top
of that. He thinks his War Hero status is a "get out of
jail free" card. He may be a "war hero", but he's a liar
and back-stabber.

Since oil was discovered in the Middle East and US needed it, all presidents have courted those countries. I want an honest president who has values, Democrat or Republican. The Clintons have way to many shady deals etc. to be trusted. Bush is on the way out so lets get over it and move on.

Excellent! In fact, the US would love it if OPEC would bump up supply.

The Clintons have way to many shady deals etc. to be trusted.
Today, Obama 'ran the table', so it could get nasty.
Bill needs to stay out of Hillary's campaign, but he
just can't help himself. And, in the end, he'll do more
damage and finish Hillary off.
